Athens Cheap Hotels

Do you know cheap but safe and clean hotels in Athens? Something for a long term stay maybe a month or longer?

Any other suggestions about the hotel or anything else are welcome. I will be there to try to learn some more Greek and practice what I already know, but I do not want to spend money on a language course. And of course meet some exotic cute Greek men :P

2. Marble House pension is nice and cheap, about 35 e per night off season, but for a stay as long as yours, you can probably negotiate a lower rate. It is central, a ten minute walk to Acropolis, and the Syngrou-Fix metro station is very close. See more here: http://www.marblehouse.gr/ Good luck with your stay, you will love it in Athens! You can get cheaper accommodation in smaller places, though, and it will probably also be easier to get in touch with people if you stay in a small town without (much) tourism.
